The Isabel Hurley gallery opened in November 2007 with the aim of promoting contemporary art by disseminating the work of emerging, midcareer and established artists and promoting collecting. On the other hand, the maintenance of an international project and the vocation to act as a platform for debate on new representation strategies as well as on the various contemporary manifestations, defending a plural program that accommodates all formats and trends in a context multicultural.

The gallery is very committed to focusing on the wonderful challenge that the Colombian politician Humberto de la Calle put on the table: achieving a culture of peace through art. Of course, this thought concerns issues that occur inside and outside each country and in the relationships between them. We refer to education in contemporary and determining values that affect the most delicate issues, at risk of suffering due to social, political or religious intolerance. We consider it our duty to warn of the danger of not granting the importance of an education in these values without which a harmonious coexistence will not be possible. Therefore, we encourage those concerned to put this task at the forefront of all agendas, and aware of the effectiveness of art as a unique tool of knowledge, we assume the responsibility that corresponds to us in this company.

Facing the unavoidable task of bringing contemporary art closer to the youngest, the gallery offers programs for different profiles, in the space itself or outside of it.
